I don't even know what field I want to go in because the thought of working just..depresses me. I find myself thinking that life in Malaysia does not hold anymore significant meaning because after all, I am just an insignificant citizen here. Oh woe is me!
Let's not wallow in self-pity as of now. In the short-term future, I have some trips to look forward to! I will be heading down to KL tomorrow to shop and then to Malacca on Christmas. Later on, I will be going to Penang (again!) from 29th Dec till 1st Jan and back to Miri by 4th Jan. Internship resumes on the 17th Jan for 3 months.
Hard to believe after all this lifeless talk and such, I will be in my final year next year. Time indeed flies.
Scariest thing is, my supervisor for final year project (FYP) has given me the green light to begin chapter 1. It is due on the second week of January and I don't even know how to begin *flaps hands frantically.
I've just finished my exams and here I go, having to do research on FYP. Sigh.
Anyway, some things that have kept me sane throughout this not very eventful period of time.
Lots and lots and lots of U-kiss variety shows. Watched U-Kiss Vampire, U-Kiss Chef Kiss and am currently also watching We Are Dating. After some time I can finally, finally tell them all apart, yay! Apart from the hilarity of all their shows, I still find the "Hello...hello...do you know me?" from their Shut Up mv extremely entertaining. Okay, okay. They're all really pretty boys but I quite like looking at Eli and Alexander more. Hmmm.
Of course a hot pair that needs no introduction. It was such a joy to see them releasing an album before their Big Bang comeback in February! Am not much of the High High mv fan but I totally dig the songs. Watched the world premier live on Youtube where they introduced the songs from the album and it was amazing! T.O.P displaying his rare singing skills? Epic!
Click here to listen to their album teaser! A mixture of genres can be found here <3
Oo. Not forgetting all their awesome comeback stages and such. Yum yum yum.Yummy men in my tum.
Ahem.
Also, I've been watching tons and tons of videos and have read lots and lots of blog posts from....
Discovered this yesterday (while trying my best to study for the last paper ugh) and have watched their videos (almost) non-stop since then! They are a pair of Canadians, Simon and Martina who are teaching English in South Korea. They've been there for about two years now and have been taking videos and blogging about Korea, Korea Food, culture, how to teach English there, randomest things, cool Korean stuff and not forgetting *drumrolls K-pop! That's right! They have a Kpop Music Mondays segment where they review a Kpop video requested by fans and it is always hilarious.
Their latest was on the High High mv and Martina is a huge, huge T.O.P fan. Like me XD
Anyway it was pretty informative and eye-opening to read about the different types of culture and such and it just made me want to... drop everything and head on to South Korea now, now!
Hmm. Maybe with time. Who knows *shrugs.
Happy Winter Solstice Festival! Make sure you eat your share of glutinous rice balls. Yum yum. Us housemates will just be having a steamboat followed by the glutinous rice balls session. Good thing is, we bought the frozen type with peanut filling instead of the fresh ones from the market like last year. Wouldn't want to risk something like eating spoilt glutinous rice balls from happening again *cough.
Till then!
