Why sometimes privatizing your blog is good

This so so that you can rant and rave about anything and everything without being cryptic which is pretty hard when you need to squeeze your brain juices just to think of the right words to muster together.

Here goes.

Your hear comments all the time about yourself. Some from friends, some from strangers, some from relatives. They can either be positive or negative stuff about our looks, personality or impressions and etc etc.

Though negative comments may bother you a bit for a while, you'll move on from it knowing that while others judge you, you are judging others in turn as well.

Come on, no one's a perfect goody goody. Everyone judges once in a while.

What I don't get is, what is your motive in repeating negative comments that a stranger has said about your friend to you? Say for example, if you had an acquaintance who told you that she thinks that your friend is a...big-mouthed girl with real thick lips, what would be the motive behind repeating it to your friend?

To further comfort yourself that there are people who look ten times worse than you do? For laughs? So that you and your friend can bitch about that acquaintance over what she said?

It isn't about the content uttered. It's the motive behind the utterance.

Well, if telling me that someone thinks I'm ugly cheers you up then I'm glad that I could of service.

I'll just learn to be extra careful around people like you.

Sometimes you just have to be reminded that the world isn't always going to smile and be all happy and rainbowish and that's when you know you've gotta start toughening and hardening yourself again.

Funny, the world seems a lot grayer today.
