Let's now take a quick recap on the unfortunate events that have occurred since Wednesday. A bicycle accident happened, leaving me bruised, thank you very much. On Thursday, I got rained on, a living nightmare and if you think the story ends here, you are dead wrong.
Yesterday morning, I woke up feeling happy because after 2.00pm, I would be free of classes till Wednesday. The good thing about staying in another state is that you share the same public holidays as they do. While getting ready to head off to uni, I discovered that my pass holder was EMPTY. I lost my university pass WITHOUT losing the HOLDER and I seriously didn't know how that happened.
I frantically searched the apartment but to no avail. Still had to attend class so I rode to uni with my empty pass holder. Thank goodness security wasn't strict then so no one noticed. Throughout tutorials I worried over my missing pass and my stupid carelessness =( I knew it would be very troublesome to have a pass remade. So, I did the only thing that would cure everything; pray. After tutorials, a couple of course friends accompanied to the Department of Students Affairs where I reported my missing pass to one of the staff. She asked me what my name was and after I told her, she produced MY PASS and presented it to me =D Turns out a good samaritan must have picked it up and handed it over to the authorities. Thank you so much! Whoever you are.
Today, Ai Ling and I decided to head to Bandar Baru because we needed to get some stationery and book shelves and shoe racks for the place. After returning from a fruitful journey, we returned back only to discover that my bunch of keys were MISSING. Ai Ling only had the keys for the gate while mine had ALL the keys to each lock IN the house. We, once again, frantically searched the place which proved in vain. We then retraced our footsteps back to the bus stop only to discover nothing there. Feeling hopeless, we trudged back dejected. While sighing, I did the the only thing that could fix the situation; pray. I then tried to calm myself down and thought of a good explanation to tell the landlord (which would be something very unpleasant) Ai Ling even called the furniture shop we went to to ask if the keys were there. I could have sworn that I never took the key out from my bag after using it to scrap the silverish thing off a reload card.
I thought of calling the public bus station cos who knows, I might have dropped the keys there. However, no one had the number =( Once again, Ai Ling picked up my bag and gave it a shake and lo and behold, there were the keys! It was wedged beneath the bottom of the bag. The bag has a plastic flap on the bottom so it got hidden underneath it =.='''
Moral of the story: Prayer works.
I think I should hide out for a bit in my room till all this nonsense is over. =/
Till then.
