Soo, I decided to wait till the rain died down before cycling back but But BUT it NEVER HAPPENED. It was already about 8.00 pm by then and it was already getting quite dark. Some more don't know who so stupid go try and save electricity the wrong way. Half the street lights from UTAR back to the apartment are UNLIT whereas the other half is. WHAT NONSENSE IS THIS. And all this hooha about safety and shizz. Hmmph.
Lil ol' me then decided to brave it out by cycling back in the heavy rain. I put on my red jacket and oversized raincoat and paddled out into the open. The roads were pretty much flooded by then and rain kept getting into my eyes and wetting my spectacles. My jeans were drenched beyond drenched and a stupid car splashed me with water as it zoomed past me. I had to stop several times to adjust my specs and oversized raincoat and the rain poured on and on. Thunder echoed in the distance and lightning brightened the sky ever so often. It was truly a living nightmare. There came this moment where i was already pretty near the apartment block and got blinded momentarily when an oncoming car flashed its lights at me.
Thank God I arrived back in one piece. After a nice shower, I made myself a bowl of savoury oatmeal (damn nice!) and am now pigging out in front of the lappie.
Bowl of yumminess. I kid you not. It consists of oatmeal, bak kua, some sweet soy sauce, seaweed and meat floss and and and preserved mushrooms!!! Owh, let's not forget the cashews. Yum.
Now, here are my injury shots.
My finger. Not so bad liao after plastering and cleaning the wound.
Bruises on my left leg! Turning red after Ai Ling's massage.
Upper right thigh.
Such nonsense.
I shall end with a photo of a crocodile. Actually cannot really see la but STILL, it is proof that a crocodile inhabits our lake. Nice.
Can see can see? It's a looks like a tiny line swimming from here.
Till then.
