Short note

So I woke up today with some pain on my right ankle. Didn't think much of it as I thought I must have twisted it while sleeping. Wild dreams. Hurhur.

The pain intesified as soon as I started off for work. It was throbbing and as much as I tried walking normally, it was hard so I found myself limping around work. I got the occasional "Are you okay?" and "Why are you limping?" from some colleagues. I bet most people who saw me must think that the management is hiring disabled people to work. Or perhaps something along the lines of abuse. Haha!

So during lunch break, mom told me to pay the doctor a visit and after examining my ankle and pressing around for a bit he came to a conclusion that I had this thing which sounds like gingivitis (but it's not la) which affects people who are flat footed. Yes I am flat footed. Zzt.

See, flat footed people tend to put more pressure on their ankles and heels. Since I've been walking and standing so much these days, that's why I had this thing, out of the blue.

My solution for this problem?

Start wearing slippers to work. =D
