The FAT edition

Okay, here to get this off my chest. Yet again.

Was reading Cleo (June edition) a couple of days back where there was an article on snarkers, body snarkers to be exact. To cut a lengthy definition short, body snarkers are basically a group of people (or assholes, imo) who make snarky comments about your body. IE: Why so fat?

Growing up known as a kid who always has extra meat on her body, I've been subjected to so much body snarking throughout my life that it ain't even funny. In fact, in this very moment it pisses me off even more when certain university mates whom I have considered good friends have started doing it too.

I remember getting so infuriated a couple of days back that I said: So what if I'm fat? Does it matter to you if I'm fat ka, over-weight ka or obese? It's not even you, it's me so WHY BOTHER SO MUCH?

And honestly, it's not like I'm exactly stuffing myself with ginormous amounts of food and not exactly trying to take care of myself but as I mentioned in the previous post, I have been going to the gym recently (about 3 weeks now) to do some workout in attempt to move towards a healthier lifestyle.

Yeah, you may think that it's a choice to be meatier than the average Chinese girl but hey, why don't you try putting yourself in my position for a change for once? I bet you'll love being on the receiving end of comments such as 'You so short and fat la'.

Yala, I may end up still fat although I do try to be a lot healthier and I may never have a waist line of 26 but hey in the end, IT'S STILL MY LIFE SO COMMENT SO MUCH FOR WHAT?

Am I so FAT that a crane is needed to transport me to wherever I want to go? Am I so FAT that I am unable to find clothes to wear?

Seriously, if you have a problem with the way I am, why don't you talk to God? I'm sure He'd love to hear an opinion or two on people like yourself on how He designs His creations.

Or maybe you think you're a lot better than God and snarking Him for the way he decided to create me?
