Well I guess it isn't a secret that I am now currently undergoing my internship. Before, I couldn't imagine myself being a teacher so I decided to apply to...an news agency. Yup. Anyway, back then I had a perception that all I would be doing would be office work cos I don't have any experience whatsoever blablabla but that turned out to be beside the point when I got accepted for my internship because I am now a...reporter.
Yup. That's right. To be honest I never thought that newspaper reporting was my kind of thing cos it seemed hectic and rushy and and and...not my thing la basically. Haih.
Usually, the senior writer I am reporting to will give me an assignment to cover for the day. Since I'm new I'm starting off with a few easy ones first. Today I covered the opening of the Reject Shop in Bintang Megamall. Hope that the paper publishes it tomorrow so I gotta go check check on it tomorrow. Heh.
Tomorrow will be a tour visit with the mayor and the council members and I'm not sure what site are we visiting yet so..yeah.
So my job is basically kind of flexible so I don't always have to go into the office at, say 9 am and finish at 5 pm or something. Which is kind of good in a way I guess. Well before this, there was a long long story of my first day but I'm kind of tired since I've repeated it about a zillion times so yeah as of now, things are kind of going great.

Attached to The Star but it's in Miri la. hahahaa! The pay is quite high lo for intern. Should be standard RM 500 bah. Heh. Nola I balik Sarawak dy hohoho. Bureau here is very small only la but can cover more I guess.

I suggest ..news agency! Haha. Like you since you are good in covering news and such pergi Star and apply! The one in Penang is kinda big right? Then you can get more exposure to law cases maybe or government activities ka or accidents and stuff ka. A lot le. Go go go! Of course wanna apply you try apply a bit earlier la cos they took like 3 months to reply me.
now im thinking whether to go to news agency anot lo. cuz i plan to work in this field after i graduate. so y not i try new things in these 3 months.

Chin Eng: Oo. Like that if you really wanna try something new, go into magazines lo! Also ok what. Are you guys allowed to go into teaching and all that? If not you can go into marketing and all that also lo. Derek is doing customer service as his intern bah now. Heh.
