Anything and Everything

I am finally back with a BANG! Err. Not really.

First and foremost, internship is really doing my head in! There's this stupid policy from the university that says we can only apply to one organization in one time and see if we get rejected or accepted. If the application is rejected, then we can only apply to another organization.

Since I will be doing my internship here in good ol' Miri, this is certainly not a good thing. For starters, the first company I applied to, after 1 whole bloody week, said that he did not see my application despite me checking the address a million times before submitting and now that there is another opportunity which has opened its doors, I can't just simply apply because it would not seem ethical and shit. The eff! Stupid first company I dislike you now really after all the time I gave you and this is how you repay me damn hilarious HMMPH!

Lately the ol' mood has also been going up and down. Apart from stressing on internship which has been pretty much energy consuming, other factors such as ....relationships and stuff has also been getting in the way. I think and think on how to express it the best way that I can but really, words seem to fail me.

I guess at times it is really better to learn to live life alone instead of expecting every aspect of your life to always be filled with people. As what Mr Yeo Kok Chuan said while we were having a discussion about this matter, sure, you might feel the loneliness at first but after a while, you'll find that it is actually peaceful.

Meh. I guess sometimes I am too dependent on people and I loath it when I think back but standing on ones own feet also takes a bit of time to do so, right? Baby steps, baby steps.

Another thing which  pretty much pissed me off is my haircut! Days ago, I was dying to go for a haircut because my fringe was getting uglier by the minute and I felt like trimming my hair just a bit.

I came out of the saloon today with the stupidest looking fringe and a length that is like 10 times shorter. The hairdresser said she will cut it A LITTLE shorter and I stress the word A LITTLE but I look like a freaking man now that it's not even funny. I hate thinned out fringes. Only fringes I go for are thick, get it? Bah I could have done a better job but NO, I just had to let some professional mess my hair up for me. Thank you. Really.

And that has been some of the disasters that has shaken my life. Apart from that, everything is fine and dandy. Food is awesome. Home is awesome. Kpop is awesome. FTW.

Anyways. Some really backdated photos which have been moulding in my phone for the past weeks.

This, my friends, is an unrotated photo of a Palgoa. It is a type of Indian sweet made out of milk and ghee. One cube like this costs Rm 0.60 and is only available for..a limited period of time. After finishing one, you can not take another because it is sweet like that. However the taste is yum. Kinda like 'kuih momo'.

This, my friends, is how a Tosai Marsala looks like. It has potatoes inside. On the last day of the last week of classes, a bunch of coursemates and I walked all the way to new town from the universiti for breakfast at this Indian food place. Had this for breakfast and it was extremely filling.

During the examination week, after a stressful paper known as...Language Learning Theories..or was it Research Methodology can't remember blame my bad memory gah!  Anyway, the point is, after the stressful paper, the apartment mates decided to throw a steamboat to forget our worries temporarily. It sort of worked cos hey, food makes the world go round right?

The bacon was heavenly! This is a photo of our pork platter. Yum.

Fast forward to last Sunday. Arrived in Sentral way too early so we decided to grab subs as breakfast. For the sake of my health, a sub sandwich is definitely the way to go. Woo-hoo!

Pardon the lousy photo but zis is my sandwich! Chicken teriyaki and olives and peppers and lettuce and mustard and chili sauce in some herby bread! It was delish. Especially the olives.

Breakfast last week! Kueh chap. After this sinful incident, breakfast has not consisted of fruits usually and a carrot cake cupcake. Hehe.

Had Nasi Lalapan with the family yesterday night and it was downright delicious. The shop is located next to Barcelona and the belacan was just awesome.

The...fish lalapan.

Chicken lalapan.

The beef lalapan! All lalapan came with rice hence the name. Duh.

Lastly, song to share.

When we drink we do it right getting slizzard.

Hoping for happier days ahead.

Till then.
