MY WINDOWS ARE FALLING APART!!
ROAR!
Eversince the stupid episode with the ceilings, A new episode has begun!
My windows are freaking leaking.
Here is proof.
Behold!! Please note the patches of fluids staining the curtains. Have stuffed a towel underneath to prevent more rain from sloshing in. Ai Ling kindly helped me move my bed and table away from the window in case more water rushes in.
Welcome to the dangerous life in Kampar, where being in your own room is not safe. *Cue for dramatic music.
Parts of the wall beneath the window has also cracked! The cracked piece actually fell out but Ai Ling stuffed it back in again.
Sigh. See what we have to live with? No one is safe in East Lake or in West Lake. *Cue for dramatic music again.
Anyway, our long-serving induction cooker also died =( Due to the leak on the kitchen ceiling at odd hours of the time, the water must have seeped into the parts of the induction cooker and spoiled it.
We had it fixed before so since we think that there is no point to get it fixed again, we bought a new one.
Had a chat with the head tenant upstairs about the problem and he promised that he will try to get it fixed by this month.
The man thought that we were making a fuss over nothing and tried to blame the problem on us. ROAR!
Eventually with proof, he had to admit his own mistakes.
People here are stupid in general!
Before the death of the induction cooker, we decided to have a steamboat to finish off the remnants of food we had leftover from the previous one.
After discovering the death, we eventually had a rice cooker steamboat instead.
It wasn't that bad really but totally unhealthy. You can see the dead induction behind. Sigh.
Onto happier matters, FIFA has begun!! Feel the fire, feel the passion, feel the GAME!!
So far, one of the most exciting games I've caught has to be the South Korea against Greece one.
This is not because I love TOP or Big Bang related!!
They were really good!! Everyone at the mamak were whooping and cheering for Korea together!!
Argentina's match was just so-so. Expected them to perform better but they sort of fell short. In my opinion, that is.
Hope Korea fares well against Argentina in the next match! Will be catching Japan against Cameroon, hopefully, tomorrow. Go Asia power!
Cheer your team, people! Am rooting for Korea, Spain, Italy & Argentina! List might add up or vice versa with time! Hoho.
Hello. This is Soon Ai Ling with her beloved Xiao Hong! Haha.
More random crap.
This is coursemate Stippie and his handbag. No kidding. He carries it around as a messenger bag but we always force him to post like this for us. Haha!
Yi Hui fooling around with my bicycle some weeks back! She was trying to imitate Ai Ling's new way of cycling as shown below.
Wu Liaoness indeed.
Had lunch-munch with a bunch of coursemates and Grand Kampar Hotel (go google) last Thursday! They had these set lunch promotions which seemed quite interesting. However, we decided to have ala-carte after checking our their promotion menus. Hmm.
This is called Black Smith if not mistaken. Some vanilla and chocolate milkshake with additional milk or something. Was pretty unmilkshake-like but tasted alright.
Had grilled Dory fish with mushroom sauce! The fish was extremely salty!! Had the innovation to eat it with the coleslaw to decrease the saltiness. Buttered vegetables and jacket potato were pretty yummy though.
This concludes my post for the day.
Remember people, Cheer Your Team!!
Till then.
