First thing's first.
Say hello to my new desktop background <3
Apart from being TOP addicted, I've developed an addiction for their latest music video Tell Me Goodbye which I've posted in one of my previous posts. It's just really, really good.
I even downloaded the video. This shows how obsessed I am with them. The only time I downloaded a music video was during Taeyang's Wedding Dress obsession some months back.
Let me list down some of my fave parts from the video:
- G-Dragon's opening rap was the bomb! To be honest, G-Dragon tops the list of the Big Bang members whom I cannot stand the most. I find him quite act clever and sort of...sexually ambiguous. It's only in my opinion! His Heartbreaker song was also quite annoying. However, in this MV, he was very bearable to watch and I liked the part where he spun his hand while singing the line 'Got my head spinning round, round, round, round'.
- Taeyang's opening singing! Taeyang + dark glasses= Love. Plus his voice is just so..melodious. Why is he so cool? Sigh.
- Daesung's singing! Usually I don't pay much attention to him since he is the second on the list of Big Bang members whom I cannot stand. Roar. This reminds me of this interview I watched on Youtube. The interviewers asked Top what was his impression of the other BB members when he first met them and he said he didn't like Daesung at first cos he smiled too much. Hahaha! He went on to imitate Daesung's smile which was quite funny. ANYWAY, in this video, Daesung was also watchable.
- TOP TOP TOP! Have you guys checked out how hot he is in the video? BURNING. It doesn't matter if he plays the antagonist cos he's..hot enough to get away with it. I love all his outfits here (this goes to all the BB members as well) plus his EYES. They're so..expressive. I loved the part when he was supposed to be playing a priest (I think) during Seungri's singing part in this confession box thing plus his rap part in the car! I find his crying very appealing for some reason. Oh, and the rough voice!! Roar. Sexay.
I think I have a thing about guys with really rough and deep voices. Sigh. Manly.
Have also been watching a lot of Big Bang clips on Youtube including their documentary when they first got together. Have only gone through one episode so I have like 10+ more to go! Oh, contemplating on watching Iris, the Korean drama as well. Google the trailer and see how hot Top is in there.
Okay, enough of fan girl talk. I shall now talk about the Borneo Rainforest trip!
Everyone knows how I feel about jungles. I loath them. Alice, a friend of Ai Ling's was visiting from KL. Met her through Ai Ling and since she was visiting, we decided to play tour guides. After hearing much about this resort, we decided to give it a go since Alice was very much interested in paying it a visit as well.
We took the RM 50 package which included a tour around, lunch and tea coupons. Since we went on a weekday, the package we picked cost RM 40 instead. Time of entrance was from 9.30 am to around 4.30 pm.
So, we were met with a friendly tour guide upon arriving at the lobby and were given glasses of juice. Since there were only a total of 5 of us (3 of us plus a couple visiting from west Malaysia), we had to go around in a van instead of the usual trailer car which looked so much more fun =(
Some places he took us to were the domestic farm, botanical gardens, the pavilions and this lookout point. We were also taken on a boat ride to feed the fish! After lunch, we were free to do what we please so we picked jungle-trekking and boating! It was fun.
Anyway, enough of typing. Some photos to illustrate the point.
Ai Ling and Alice listening to our tour guide intently at the lookout point where you can see tons of oil palm trees, jackfruit trees and even Niah Caves, according to the guide.
Greeneries that can be seen from the boat during the boat ride.
They have (ugly) sheep around too! This can be seen from the other side of the boat.
Ai Ling (who's dream is to work here) standing with the guide. We were required to wear life jackets throughout the ride.
See the hungry fishes coming for food! These are Patin fishes by the way. Pretty violent as they kept fighting for food with each other.
A very hot and tired Soon Ai Ling.
Alice and me!
Sitting at the front of the boat.
After the boat ride, the guide asked whether we wanted to take the van back to the resort or trek our way back. Since the west Malaysian couple said trek, we followed suit. It wasn't really a jungle trek as there were bridges and such built for the comfort of the visitors. The whole journey was about 900 m.
Behold, the Borneo Rainforest Resort waterfall! Very potong stim I know. We saw this on the way back to the resort.
The other small waterfall. Hmm. We've seen better I reckon.
Ai Ling the all excited person throughout the trip.
Iz me being a jungle loving person! This was obviously posed la. Haha.
A campsite we passed on the way! Wanted to take a better picture since the lighting there was just nice, not too bright or too dark, but the guide was hurrying us on =.=
After getting back it was time for lunch!
We had appetizers of umai (Yum!) and pineapple and chicken salad. After that, we had lunch of...
For three people, mind you plus free flow of melon juice.
This was followed by dessert of fruits and cakes. *Burp.
No photos of the jungle-trekking and boating experience.
There were 3 paths for the jungle-trek namely the 500 m, 800 m and 2.6 km. We took the 800 m one and the trek through the jungle wasn't too bad although there were many downhill and uphill climbs.
It was way better than the stupid Lambir Challenge back during the days of prefect training camp so that explains a lot already.
Ai Ling said she is interested to do the 2.6 km one which I made clear that she will have to do without me. 800 m is just the maximum for me. Hurhur.
After trekking and boating (where I tweeted that Ai Ling fell in love with the park ranger aka boatman that accompanied us), we headed for our afternoon tea which I have no photo of as well! We had mango juice, swiss rolls and fruits if I've not mistaken.
Then, we headed back. Woke up the next morning with aching thighs but overall, I'd pretty much come back here again if they maintain their good services.
Time to wrap up and go off.
Till then.
