Photo-photo update!

Finally, some breathing space! Haven't updated in a while, I know. As usual, assignments are to be blamed. Owh, and other things like watching movies online and such. Ahem. Am taking this time to do a bit of destressing before another busy week comes along. We have a drama presentation due on Monday for this Team building & Leadership Skills subject. Among all the titles that were available, we chose Gangster & Mafia. No idea why also la really. The drama must have something to do with team building. Interesting. Anyway, our plot will revolve around an enemy who deploys a woman into out midst who will try to seduce us since we are so kheng and try to break our good bond. Of course, the ending will be a happy one where we will decapitate or kill the woman. Something violent. Most of us will be playing the male roles as there 5 girls and 1 boy in the group. Lol. Apart from that, Pengajian Malaysia quiz and submission of argumentative essay are two other things to look forward to =.=

A new seafood restaurant just opened its doors today near our apartment. I have absolutely no idea why there are people shouting about with microphones. Maybe it's a new way of ordering but it's dead annoying cos my room faces that direction. Speaking of room, I haven't been sleeping early these days. Usual time would be 2 am and sometimes even till 5 am =.= Can't help it la and yes, I know I have to change.

Photos ahead!

I love ginseng soup! The boiled chicken tastes Yum with the sweet soy sauce.

An evening after the rain. It has been raining constantly here in ye ol' Kampar that sun shine has become such a privilege. With that being said, it is a good thing as it makes cycling less tiring.

This is Ai Ling, say Hi. She asked me to help her cut her fringe before her birthday. Looks quite cacat hor? Anyways, it looked much better after she straightened it la no worries, as you shall see.

A night before her birthday, she wanted to have a pre-birthday celebration at Sushi King. Since Sushi King is having a salmon promotion, we headed there for dinner. Ai Ling has updated on the food we had on her blog. Salmon is the love <3>

Photobucket
Bought a slice of chocolate banana cake from the bakery at Tesco for her midnight celebration.

Photobucket
It tasted...nice, surprisingly.

Passed her the card which was written by me and my 3 other friends, Cheryl, Sharmilla and Sooi Pheng.

Ai Ling's present from me is a photo album with her photos which I've taken for this past year along with captions and such. You can see more of it on her blog.

On the night of her birthday, we had bak kut teh for dinner! This time I had some of my coursemates over to celebrate with her.

Sze Wan, who also live on the same floor as us, getting ready the cake she and Mark bought.

Lol. The fire seems to be going into her nose lo. Haha. I have no decent shot of her and her cake, sorry. =/

Photobucket
Coursemate Mark and Ai Ling. This boy has got to be one of the most camera shy people ever la. He claims he looks fat in photos and didn't want to be part of any other photo taking after.

Sooi Pheng will be our official new housemate next year! Hope we will be able to live harmoniously together.

After having a slice of cake, Ai Ling, Sze Wan and Mark started being quite the crazy and played around with the cream on the cake.

Here's a short video I manage to record. Before Mark came and smeared me with cream as well =.=

The next day, Ai Ling received another cake from her coursemates. Turned out to be an ice-cream cake which was also nice.

Future housemate and Ai Ling with the cake.

I think she had quite a mellow celebration compared to the one she had last year when she hit 21.

IMO, as long as I am celebrating it with people that truly care, it's satisfying enough. Big parties with tons of people might be the fad last time but as for now, if it's low key, it doesn't matter as long as I am with people that I care about =D

Breaking dawn! This was the day Sooi Pheng and I stayed up till morning to complete our assignments, fb and of course, gossip.

Check this out if you're bored. College Humour is awesome. =D

Till then.
