Kampar's weather is quite predictable. They'll be periods where rain is in abundant and you'll get nice windy and cloudy weather throughout the day. Then after the rainy period, the sunny period will come and this is the time where the heat will be unbearable. Seriously. It sticks to you and makes you sweat throughout the day. Then at night, although you do have the fan on, it'll be like sleeping in a sauna room. Seriously.
Currently addicted to BEP's I've Gotta Feeling. So happy, happy, happy.
Right, from this line forth, I am typing this at 9.25 pm. Was up and about the house fooling around with Ling jie. We re-watched Titanic on PPstream. Haha!
So it's back to business.
We made a lovely salad on a....Wednesday I reckon. Ingredients were simple. We had salad leaves, shallots, corn, canned mushroom, chilli tuna apples and mayonnaise.
With apples on top now.
It was really, really good I would say. Chilli tuna makes it all the more yummier.
On the side, we had baked wedges. Yum.
We made another salad yesterday which was equally as yummy. Ai Ling has done an update on that one so you can happily hop over there if you are interested.
This is our dining room table during exams period. Most of the things on the table plus the bafs on the chair belong to..Me! Yes la very messy la but it's exams period! One is allowed to be messy no?
Speaking of exams, I guess I can rant a bit. On selfish people. I don't know about other courses but it happens so often in my course it just isn't funny anymore. There are certain people in the class who can get so selfish you'd just feel like smacking their heads inside out. When it comes to exams and tips, you will never, EVER expect to get anything from them at all because, well, that's just how they are. It's every man for himself. Or woman for herself.
It totally SUCKS because when they need you, here they come being pretentiously nice and sucking you DRY with their questions but after that, please la, hopeless please. Yes, you might want to compete and appear victorious but wouldn't you want to do it in a fair manner? Or are you just scared of competition?
Sometimes I feel stupid for actually continuing to help and give tips to these people. Do unto others as others do unto you, as they say but I'd feel guilty if I do that. Maybe I just can't be a mean person. Although I do talk meanly sometimes. Zzt.
Moving on.

Droplets kept hitting the sliding door and the balcony was seriously flooding.
Ai Ling busy laughing at people who were cycling back under the rain. It's kinda funny la actually. Haha.
It rained for over 2 hours I think.
Ta-da. Sheets of rain. Woot.
We bought a durian mooncake for dessert.
The filling was nice but the pastry was a little over-baked.
I shall be off now.
