I broke my G string

I said that once during a church music practice and everyone laughed =.=. Yes, I only realized too late that it sounded so wrong. Hence, I would say " I broke a G string" when I broke one. By G string I mean the G string on the violin la. Which I did again today. Break I mean. During a jam session (Yes, Huixin actually jams wth).

And and and, I rode on a motorcycle today!! I know I sound so sakai right now but it was seriously my first time and yes, I was worried a bit at first (safety precautions you know you know) but it was actually not too bad! Quite fun la really. Just make sure the person navigating the motor is experienced la of course. Hoho.

Anyways, some photos ahead, as per usual. Ling jie has gone off to KL and has conveniently left me alone in the apartment boo-hoo. She's bringing her parents to Kampar tomorrow to pay her a visit.

On a random note, finals is starting on the 27th April for me. Whee. I. Have. No. Idea. What. To. Do. It seems that I keep wasting my time, somehow. Onoz. Please pray that I will survive. Arghh. I love stressing myself out sometimes. It's so therapeutic. NOT.

On yet another random note, Kokky-kun claims that he has been a good boy, as usual (his words, not mine) and has not gone for any gaming sessions, partying and the worst crime of all, not eating deliciously delicious Miri food. He says he spends all his time studying. Please clarify, dear Mirians. I fear the King of Bullshit is still the reigning king. Tsk tsk.

Lookie look! Derek actually has housekeeping skills! Amayyyzing. Of course I can't say much about his accident-of-a-room though. Tsk tsk.

He was nice enough to get some yummy ice from Ice Shark for us. However, he got the wrong one for me =(. This is the glutinous rice ball one. The one I wanted has cincau, riceballs and nuts. Awesome shizz I tell you. The random banana slices were stolen from Derek's mixed fruit ice since he has a thing about bananas.

Anyway talking about Ice Shark, it's a new place located in the new town which basically sells icey desserts. They do have main dishes too such as steamboat, savoury snacks and rice&noodles. We (usual Mirian gang duhh) paid a visit there on a fine Tuesday evening because we were busy procrastinating from studying. Woe is us.

Some icey goodness below.

Derek's mixed fruit ice.

Ai Ling's mango ice. It was damn good. Even the ice itself had a very nice sweetish flavour to it. Mango goodness is the love.

Jang Yee and I had this. I think it's called Ice Shark as well but it was really awesome. The ice tasted of cincau and it was just oh-so refreshing. Seriously craving for this now.

But do you know what I am really extremely very very craving for? Kueh tiaw chao tomato sauce =(( Kok said I am a bit ke lian. I have sent him out to source the bestest best place to have this in Miri. If he forgets I shall just whack him, no worries. Haven't had this for ages weih. The only recollection I have of it is when my dad ta paus it for me occasionally during form 6. I think he got it from Krokop 10 though. Hmm.

Enough digressing.

We also had dumplings! This one is the one with mince pork and cabbage. Something like that. It was nice, although a bit small in size.

Photobucket
Jang Yee's bacon and cheese toast. Nothing can go wrong with cheese I say.

Photobucket
Ai Ling and Derek with their tapau-ed fried kueh tiaw and noodles.

Photobucket
I also had chicken thumbs! No not chicken thumb thumb but thumb as in it's size lo. It was juicy and crispy and springy.

Photobucket
Random nail shot. Glittery, no?

Photobucket
Mirror shot-yet again.

Photobucket
And yet again minus Cheryl who had an appointment with a doctor.

Photobucket
Meet Stippie Chee, fellow coursemate who was busy playing with paper boats in class. Tsk tsk. He reminds me of Hershey. As in the rabbit. Yeyeyeyeyye =D

Previous din din photos below.

Photobucket
Tom yam again =D Was much spicier than before but the soup was not thick enough.

Photobucket
Linguinie carbonara. We used the cheese and hebs one from Prego this time and it tasted so much better. *Slurps.

Shall now be off to study. I. Must.

Till then.
