An update again

Sorry for the sounds of silence. Life has been mundane yet hectic at the same time.

It's about time I got down to do some SS (serious studying, not syok sendiri). I do feel quite behind in some subjects which is a huge no-no, of course. The motivation just isn't there. Le sigh. I am currently into week 8 of my 14-week semester. Time definitely flies and I feel as though I have not accomplished much within these weeks. Hmm.

Shall be heading down to KL this weekend with the housemate! Finally, some real entertainment. The actual reason for the heading down is cos Ai Ling needs to get a laptop. OF COURSE having Monday as a public holiday and all, it is only logical that we spend a weekend there to browse through some other interesting things such as, ehem, clothes. HAHA.

I need more formal wear seriously. Currently surviving on only 2 formal shirts le sigh. Another one would do the trick. Or maybe two. Or three =P. Oo. Let's not forget the belt shopping too. And erm, random items shopping. =)

Also, I shall be meeting up with Jessica this Saturday!! Wheee!! =D

Ahh. Let's pray and hope that this will be a fulfilling weekend, shall we?

Anyway, photos!

As usual, tons of foodie photos. It's the only eventful thing we do here; cook. That is, apart from Tesco-ing for groceries and attending classes. Going online does not count.

We <3 cooking.

Tuesday night's dinner as below. I was to cook that night cos Ai Ling had a discussion with her coursemates which ran quite late. Hence, dinner was a simple meal of rice..

..vegetables. Sawi I reckon and...

Eggs with chicken pieces and tomatoes. I know I know. It looks atrocious but it was GOOD *defensive. I think it was supposed to be an omelet but it became scrambled eggs in the end. Mixed it with some basil and salt. Added cheese powder along with tomato and chili sauce and wal-la, eggs? Lol.

Dinnering at Derek's on Monday

Stupid blogger don't know what is up with it la so annoyed at it now that I can't be bothered to add full stops to my sentence. Haha. I can't remove the stupid underline thing la. Screwed up.

Any-hoos, the above is mixed veggie and it was damn damn good =D Reminded me of my grandma's mixed veggie yum. There were razor clams and fish maw (? something like that), alongside some mince mutton meat and and cauliflower and broccoli. Bliss.

Soup!

The RM 3 fish which was superb. Haven't had steam fish for a long time okay. Sigh.

Tucking in!

There are times when I can't be the chef and Ai Ling will take over. Above is her fried rice creation; tom yam fried rice. Yum.

The egg, tune and burger patty sandwich =D

As mentioned in the previous post, she came up with her own makeshift claypot rice recipe using the trustee rice cooker. Above is the result. Beef stock cube, beef pieces and tomatoes were involved. Season it with sweet soy sauce or oyster sauce and yum, a yummy meal.

The landlord's brother and wife dropped by to pass us the extension for the washing machine last Saturday. They brought along some buns and paus for us.

Char siew bun.

Bursting with fiilling.

Think this is custard and corn pau. Not bad. If it were buttermilk...yum.

You have no idea how agitated I am right now with the stupid b-ball players loitering around the court and the karaoke-singing neighbour who is currently belting out this song he has been obsessed with for centuries.

Grr.

Till then.
