I just remembered being ordered to sit on something white and lacey. It was fun =)
The one of my sister and I taken at the studio is still hanging on the wall of our living room. I reckon my wreath was quite 'senget' then. Tsk tsk.
Anyway, more photos! Aiya, just follow me down memory lane la.
An emo-looking me. Mom used to tell me that the old lady in the photo is called Big Fish (Tua Yi in hokkien). She's reaching her 90's now I reckon or is she already 90 over? The point is, she's still as fit and healthy as ever and still drinks a lot of beer. Haha.

Under the sun.

Guess who? Hoho.

Sister & I with the wedding car.

Hmm. I reckon this is at their back-then new marital bedroom? It has slipped my mind for a moment on what it is called exactly.

Ama and us =D

Us and the back-then just married aunt and uncle. Look at my dress *points points. It was a halter dress. And mom was just telling me we never wore revealing clothes. Hmmm.

It looked like a nice dress though. This photo is just to illlustrate the halter. Haha.

A group shot with some other relatives. Dad looks so thin. Hoho.

A shot at grandma's old house.
Owh, owh. As I was browsing through the old photos, guess who I spotted?!

Can you make a guess? Sorry la a bit blur. Mom kept rushing me =.='''

Another one. Can guess can guess?
Since I'm so generous (please admit that I am) I shall share the answer to those who have not guessed yet. Note that the boy with the red shirt on the far left is actually Dragon Wee. Quite cute hor? Haha!

Another old photo. Ugh. Look at my hair 0.o I was bobbed practically from young. Hoho. This was definitely in primary school, either primary 3 or primary 4. Cousin Ben is missing from this pic. He reckons he remembered where he was while this photo was taken but would not share with me the details.
I should have just snapped a photo of him back in his bald days. That will show him. Lol. Nola. Cannot be evil.

Introducing my cute brother and the 3 cousins during lantern festivals many years ago. Look at the cousin on the far right. I like the fact that the lantern looks bigger than her. Haha.
As promised, some food photos from the Winter Solstice Festival last night. Went to both my paternal and maternal grandparents' place but the main celebration was at the maternal grandma's place. As usual, steamboat was prepared but this time, we had a selection of normal veggie base soup or tom yam soup. *Slurp.

Cousin Ben and I with half of the spread on the table. We circulated this photo around to *ahem certain poor relatives that weren't able to join us due to unforeseen circumstances. Haha. I told cousin Ben NOT to do this to me when I go off for studies.

Baking queen aunt prepared the tang yuan for us. She went to Taiwan a couple of weeks back and had this tang yuan dessert which she found unique. So, she decided to recreate her own version of the special dessert. She added tang yuan alongside some tauhu hua and finally poured over some sort of sweet syrup. I think it is made out of dates and ginseng? I could be wrong though. Anyway, it was good.

Before that, I also had a bowl of Tang Yuan at the maternal grandparents' place.
I like Tang Yuan. Yum.
More updates next time.
Till then.

Aww. Come back soon then =) Or you can try googling the recipe and re-creating them! Haha.
