Facebook and blogs are such wonderful windows into lives of people. Or perhaps to facades people often put up to look and feel good. *shrugs.
Hence, I find myself blog-hopping, sometimes landing on some stranger's blog with very interesting content (or sometimes NOT) and sometimes surprisingly landing on blogs of friends, whom I do not know own blogs at all.
Reading through the posts, looking at the photos. Yes, being a silent reader has its advantages. You have access to peep into someone's life and be surprised/thrilled/amazed/shocked/whatever emotion insert here at the contents of it.
Who knows, I might even have silent readers looking into some of my life stories and be surprised/thrilled/amazed/shocked/whatever emotion insert here at the contents of it.
'You don't know what you've got till it's gone' would be a saying that applies to a lot of things such as having a home, a comfortable bed, getting a comfortable bed or perhaps to people who have been playing an important role in your life but have not been appreciated yet.
It does NOT apply to times when there are ulcers popping out in your mouth. Yes, I DID know having a pain free mouth would make it more convenient for me to actually consume things.
Today also marks the one month countdown till I begin life as a student again. I am now starting to be very grateful for many things; the bed, having a car to drive around, food, good wireless connection, being able to cook and bake whenever I want to and so forth. Dad cooked pak loh duck for dinner today and as I ate I started savouring the taste of it in my mouth, knowing that I shall have to live on takeouts and such when I leave. Heck, I ate half of the bean sprouts and thought to myself whether I should ask for the recipe on how to make it taste of home when I am there.
Of course, it would have been so much better if it weren't for them ulcers in my mouth.
Last but now least, I have discovered yet another new reality show called 'Stylista', available on YouTube of course. It seems promising enough, after all that disappointment I had with the latest ANTM cycles.
Till then.
