I tell you hor, one of the things that worry me the most is the ever increasing degree of my left eye. My current left eye degree is around 800 (no horrified looks, please~) and my right is around 275 (!!!) I've always thought something was wrong with my right eye because it the degree never increases and after studying my eyes in a mirror for a bit of time, I realized that my right eye is a little, well, cross-eyed. Hmmm.
Anyway, we entered Jee Kwong (me is the faithful patron of that optical shop. hoho) and I was happily scanning through the rows of yummy-looking specs when mom told one of the sales girls to get my eyes checked. To cut a long story short, the boss' wife performed the eye check on me and lo and behold, my right eye's short-sightedness increased by 300 where as my left one increased by 25. HAHA!
It is indeed a miracle and this has proven that my right eye is not lazy anymore which is pretty great =D. This would mean that my right eye is currently standing at a degree of 575 which is pretty high and naturally, mom got worried.
One way to stop the progression of my ever increasing degree would be to use hard lensed contact lenses which is pretty costly I reckon. The other alternative is lasik surgery which I am pretty keen on. Shall make my choices next time for now, I am waiting for my new pair of specs! =D
Yes, I settled for plastic frames as I've meantioned before, I prefer those. They are a cheap alternative to metal frames because my spectacle lenses cost a ton, ranging from RM500-RM600. According to the boss, not many companies make lens for high degree. Hmmph.
I shall be getting them around the end of this month or the beginning of November because they have to order the lens.
As for uni applications, I shall be sending in my form tomorrow! =D I've decided just to apply for the English course because that is the only course I want to do. As for the rest, I shall leave it to the Lord.
Till then.
*Updated. Some pics to illustrate my point. Haha.

With specs. I know a bit weird but this is for illustration purposes only.

No specs. Thoughts?
