Had a farewell dinner with the paternal cousin last Friday night at Siamese Secrets. The poor lad has never been there before so I decided to introduce the place to him since he was heading for Labuan, which I'm quite sure does not have much good food compared to Miri. Hurhur.
So, since it was our last dinner and all, he did the honours of driving over since I am the one who does most of the driving when we go out. A good change I would say.

The cousin fooling around with his phone, looking super kuai with his new haircut.
Food that we ordered below.

Chocolate float and vanilla milkshake.

My Spaghetti Carbonara. It was absolutely delicious. Oh, man. I can feel the creamy sauce oozing down my throat as I type this sentence. The spaghetti was just right and the bacon complemented the sauce really well. However, it is also damn fattening. Why must good food be fattening anyway? Hmmph.

Cheese crisp. It was different I guess. Quite nice. Very typical mexican, which of course, contains strong beef taste. Yum.

Cajun Chicken salad or was it the other way round? Can't remember. The cousin kept insisting we MUST order a salad. =.=

A photo before leaving.
Sigh. I shall miss our gossip sessions every Sunday at grandma's house. The impromptu going outs. Camwhoring sessions. Laughter. Talks. Crap.
Alas, another one has left.
Anyway, we still keep in touch via SMS and MMS but it isn't the same I guess. All part of growing up I reckon.
On Saturday, we headed to the Jazz Festival. Not many photos since my phone is after all, only 3.2 megapixels, so yes. It was an enjoyable evening and the music was awesome. Saw many patients there but thank goodness I am short so I reckon no one noticed me. Oh yes, Bel gave me a shock that night too. Haha!

Charmaine Clamor, one of the performers belting out some jazz tunes to entertain the crowd. I prefer to call it sultry songs though. Hurhur.

Overall, her performance was good. She has a good voice. Quoting Jess: Why are all her songs about sugars and candy? Haha!

Rumba Calzada? Something like that. They were the last band to hit the stage. I like guy in middle. Guy in middle hot.

Apparently, he's the leader of the band. He can sing.

I still like guy in middle. Too bad I don't have any clear shots to share with you his hotness. =P
Some photos from the fest my mom sent to me below.

Amar Sundy. Forgot where they are from at the moment. I know it starts with A though. Their music had a very Santana feel to it.

The super cute Tlventielke band! They played some catchy tunes IE: The Bare Necessities. However, if it were our local school bands doing this, they will be forever known as losers.

Jess and I. We were joined by Daphne and Hui Li too but by the time this photo was taken, they had already left.
Any-hoos, all the more reason to hate flash. It makes your face shiny and weird looking.
On Sunday, when one receives a new bling which is not her usual taste, one would take vain photos.

The new bling.

Call me Datin. Lol.
Okay. You have my permission to go vomit now.
P/S: Sorry for no 'M' shaped fringe pics. I trimmed it until it started looking pretty normal again.
Till the next time I post.
