Mooncake Festival 2007

It's that time of year again when mooncake is in abundance. Are you mooncake-d yet? Haha.We had dinner at my uncle/grandma's house. This time, instead of having the usual chicken-soup base soup in its old fashioned wok/pot/thingamajig (will post a pic of one if I happen to have old fashioned steamboat again at my paternal grandparent's side) we had a choice between chicken soup & tomyam. Naturally, most people opted for the tomyam one as they preferred something sourish and spicy to go with rice. Ah. I must have gotten my love for spicy food from this side. Haha. The table closest is for drinks, soft peanuts and fruits while the next table is for the steamboats. The furthes table is the main table serving the main course namely Hainan chicken, duck, veggies and some Hokkien delicacies like Bak Kui and special egg roll.We were super well fed. My uncle kept serving us fruits and jelly mooncake made by my aunt as dessert. Dinner continued for about 2 hours, starting at about 7 pm till 9 something pm.Anyway, I hope you guys had a great time celebrating the Mooncake Festival as much as I have =)Oh and before I forget,
