Here are some snippets of what I've been up to for these past few weeks aside from the usual (boring) assignments, midterms and any university related stuff.
This photo dates back to...the Spain against Germany match if I'm not mistaken. That should probably be on the 8th July (I've checked on the FIFA website). Had some coursemates over Eastlake to watch the game together so we decided to order some pizzas for dinner before the 2.30 am game.
Sigh. World Cup season was definitely a fruitful period of time. Anyway. Moving on.
O hai. Iz me. This was taken on the morning a couple of hours after the final match of the World Cup which explains the pretty messy look. Mwahaha. As mentioned earlier, World Cup season were definitely the days.
Sister popped down to Kampar for a visit with Chee Wee and Sin Keat. Nothing eventful happen because this is after all, Kampar. Managed to go to Ipoh for a...drive and of course nomming on food around Kampar.
And this is Chee Wee. Say Hi. Mwahaha!
The use of the skin of the pamelo after the retrieval of its fruits. Ai Ling was especially attached to it because she found that it made a cute fringe.
Anyway pamelo skin is dead and gone now.
Here's a photo of No-no suffocating in between Chee Wee's hands. Tsk tsk tsk.
Sister actually took loads of photos with my camera but I'm only uploading a few here la. Hoho.
Being the good tour guides that we are, we brought them to Shark Ice for some yummy ice.
The owner's adorable dog called French Fries! To be more precise, it is called 'Shu Tiao', the mandarin word for fries. This is one of the few dogs that I am not afraid of namely because it isn't chummy and is very tame.
Here's a photo as proof! Photo's a bit dark because it was taken with my phone camera.
Yi Hui, me and Shu Tiao. It was feeling sleepy then I reckon.
Soon Ai Ling Ling and Shu Tiao.
Went old town-ing for breakfast the next day.
Had one of the nicest beef noodles! Beef was soft and look at the white carrots! Soup was flavourful and the beef balls were awesome! Had hints of garlic taste. Yum.
Egg tarts from Kam Ling restaurant. One of the nicest egg tarts around. We took away some for munching at the apartment.
Next, some other campus photos.
Group shot, group shot. Haven't taken photos with each other since forever. As of now, there are still tons of assignments that are pending. Not forgetting the studying of mid terms. Ugh.
Here's an ugly picture of Stippie doing the pout.
Cam-ho, yo. Whenever I look at this pic, I think of the phrase "Eff my hair's life". Seriously.
Before I forget, candy from Sticky! Sis got them for us from One Utama. Think the flavour is called Apple Sours.
Have indulged myself with one (or two) Blackforest Cornetto. 'tis amazing and is able to take the stress away for a temporary period.
Meet Chee Cheong Fun aka Jun Zheng and Sandy. Our good Communications Networking friends were asked to help us out with an assignment last Thursday. Funny to think that this will be their last semester here because they are graduating soon.
Sandy and I. Lookie look, I got my South Korea jersey (well out of World Cup season too I might add)! It looks a wee bit because this is a male jersey after all and they ran out of S size.
Group photo, group photo.
Also went to Ipoh last Saturday for a round of destressing with a bunch of coursemates. We watched Despicable Me and Inception before heading for dinner at a food court nearby.
Despicable Me is a must watch! Words cannot express how adorable the whole movie is. We watched it in 3D but much of the 3D effects can't be felt la.
Inception was pretty good. It would have been better if we got to sit a little further to the back because we were stuck with second row seats which made watching it pretty dizzying.
Err. Random table snap. We had dumplings, popiah, beef noodles (pictured right), claypot rice (corner top right) and of course, desserts.
Mixed fruit ice which was yum. It was a combination of sweet and sour, probably due to the lime juice that they added into the ice.
Chendol. Nothing much to shout about.
Before last Saturday, I also helped Derek out with a photoshoot for his Moral Campaign. Sigh. Such memories.
Here is one of the photos.
And apart from that, I've been pretty lifeless. The end.
