Happy birthday to me!

I spent my birthday STUDYING. Yes indeedy I did. Blessed with a birthday which almost always falls on study week (first day of it no less) it's always so predictable that the entire day will be spent doing essential things like studying.

The day before though, I made myself a chilled strawberry liquor cheesecake! It was quite a success I would say. Above is a photo which was taken by Miss Soon Ai Ling at midnight.

Truth be told, I fell asleep at 10.30 pm last night. Wasn't in the mood to countdown or celebrate or whatsoever cos I was a moody kid.
However, I was woken up by some smses close to midnight. I turned my phone to silent and proceeded to go back to sleep. A few minutes after midnight, I was woken again by a knock on the door. I opened to find Ai Ling standing outside holding a cake.

I wasn't wearing my specs and was in a blurry state so I told her I'll cut the cake tomorrow and then closed the door. I then proceeded to go back to sleep =.= Yes, so potong stim I know.

After lying down for a few seconds I got up again, put on my specs and headed out and told Ai Ling yes, let's cut the cake. Lolol.

I then noticed that she had also prepared 2 boiled eggs and also a small present along with a card. Touched I was.

No birthday song singing cos I didn't feel it was necessary.

El cake that I made. Doesn't look like a cake I know but it was quite the yum if I do say so myself. Ehem.

It was still pretty soft at the time of cutting which resulted to this slightly gooey mess. The cream cheese was mixed with some strawberry creme liquor which I got from Langkawi. Baking queen aunt made a similar cake for me two years back with strawberry creme liquor and it was amazing. Base is made from digestive biscuits and butter.

Hello, Ocula. It's real name is Third Eye actually. I think Ocula would suit it better. Ocula is a name derived from Small Soldiers. If you guys have watched it. You'll know which character it is XD.

Few months back, I blogged about receiving my earliest birthday present ever from Miss Soon. Apart from Butch, it also comes in a set with one baby-sized Dooodoll and one notebook. Apparently, Butch wasn't my only present. Epic indeed.

We also had our fair share of alcohol consumption. Haha! The one in the middle was used to make the cheesecake. It tastes sort of gross if consumed like that but nice when mixed with other elements. Hmm. Same goes for the other two liquor.

On another note, I think I am allergic to alcohol. Not really allergic but partially. After consuming a bit of the three yesterday, I went to bed with a slight throbbing head but was fine. However today, after eating ONE slice of cheesecake, just ONE, I now have rashes on my body. The day before, all was fine. What is this la =(

Another view. Anyway, I don't care! Although I think I am slightly allergic to alcohol I shall still have my share of cake. Hmmph!

For din din, I had pizza delivery from Pizza Hut!

Overview: 2 boxes of regular pizza (Super Supreme & Royal Marsala) 4 pieces of Deli Wings & 2 cups of coke with lemon and salt.

 Deli Wings which were pretty alright. Planning to bake our own soon. Honeyfied preferably.

Super supreme which is the pizza I'd normally order cos I love the olives on it =D Random I know.

 Finished it we did. Such big eaters we are. *Burps.

To sum up my birthday day, it was actually just a normal day. The only difference is getting smses, FB wallposts and messages from friends and family wishing me happy birthday. Oh and not to mention the fact about all that eating. *Double burp.
We also had pancakes for breakfast prior to the big dinner and all. =/

Only wish this time is to do really well for finals. Aim high I must.

Last Saturday, the entire Kampar was bathed in darkness for 3 whole hours from 5.30 pm till 8.30 pm. It soured my mood so much because the weather was pretty humid and I had wanted to actually start revising for finals.

Took a bath while there was still daylight and Ai Ling and I headed to Tesco to grab some food and torchlights, in case. I was so prepared to sleep in the living room with the balcony sliding doors opened if the electric never came back.

There we were. Dinnering in the dark with the aid of torchlights. I was having Tesco's RM 1 Nasi Lemak and a bottle of V-soy whil Ai Ling had PB & J sandwiches and V-soy for dinner.

To further proof the statement that it was really dark. You can't see the shophouses or the terrace houses at all from the balcony. Lights there are from passing cars.

Apa ni? Just Ai Ling's torchlight.

We played cards at the basketball court for a bit and then the electricity came back on. I was happy then.

Once again, it was a satisfying day and I pray that my rashes don't get worse.
