Busy as usual

It has been a busy week and it will resume being busy for the next couple of weeks. Anyway, I've decided to blog today because I sort of felt I was in the mood for it. Hurhur. This past week, I was pretty busy preparing for our Moral campaign which was held last Saturday. Thank God it was a success and it is all over. We scored full marks for the campaign itself which is such a huge achievement indeed! All those sleepless nights, blood, sweat and tears were definitely worth it.

Why were we so semangat in preparing for this campaign? I don't know really. Moral is after all a past or fail subject but I guess the satisfaction of knowing that a job is done well is a much better feeling.

Prior to the campaign, we managed to do a short photoshoot for the 'Love Yourself' poster we were planning to make. For those who don't know what that is, you can view these photos on my FB account under the album 'For the Love or Moral!'.

The 'Behind the Scenes' video is also on my FB account.

Apart from organizing the campaign, we were also divided into smaller groups to prepare some sort of performance. My group did a kind of dancish drama (which some called it a Musical Drama hmm) which depended solely on facial expressions, dance movements and other gestures. We had a narrator though who did some narration for some parts of the drama plus played the role as a doctor in the end.

Okay, our storyline is basically about a group of girls who are very naive and innocent and just started uni and did not realize the dangers this world has to offer. In comes a bad influence played by the only boy in my group who slowly introduced alcohol, smoking, drugs and then self-harm to the group, causing a death of the member in the end.

Simple story line yes? The dances took a while to choreograph and I sort of regret not having a video of our performance =(

Anyway, this picture makes me smile.

Self-time shot is the love.

Group shot above is a combo of my group and also Stippie's (boy on the left with the peace sign). We've practically been facing each other since the beginning of this week as we had most of our drama practices together. Theirs was about illegal selling and buying of babies which was also epicly funny.

Group shots like these makes me cherish the good moments we spent together.

See, I don't know why but when good times arise, sometimes I fear this happiness just won't last. Hmm. Am I just being pessimistic? Maybe.

Another not so good thing is I think I pissed my academic adviser off. Seriously. I was supposed to meet him for an appointment last Thursday but I forgot about it cos I was just too preoccupied with the preparation of the drama and campaign.

The worst part is, I actually emailed him the day before to confirm the appointment! Anyway I sent him an email already to apologize and also to schedule in a new appointment but he has not replied. If he still doesn't do so soon, I shall just have to re-email him on Monday =( Woe is me.

Back to happier topics! More photos that make me smile. Hurhur.

Me and Cheryl doing the =D or =O

The ever sporting Nelson who was the only guy in our group.

Rajina the narrator.

Rehearsing a part of our dance. Which was constructed based on a lot of frustration and pressure with a mix of occasional joy.

With the campaign over and done with, it is now time to look forward to the ever piling assignments that I am supposed to start working on soon =(

Headed to the old town for some grocery shopping cum brunch cum beauty products buying. Am gonna go take a bath now and then squeeze in a facial mask session.

Perhaps a short nap after? Hmm.

Till then.
