Ai Ling also had an accident where she knocked into a parked car while cycling back home from uni a couple of days back. To cut a long story short, clinics in Kampar are just plain hopeless. I would never for the life of me want to get seriously sick here for fear of being misdiagnosed by the doctors. The only trustworthy place is the general hospital. She had 4 stitches sewn on her knee. We only knew this hours after visiting a stupid clinic at the old town where the doctor told us the bleeding would stop in days. =.= Thank goodness for the late night ride to the hospital. If we had not convinced Ai Ling to go to the hospital, she'd probably have lost liters of blood =/
Anyway, having stitches did not dampen Ai Ling's craziness. She only had a 'down period' for a couple of hours and that was it.
Photo-photo updates. Of random things of the past.
Went down to Ipoh with Sooi Pheng about two weeks back and came back with some Etude House buys. Must seriously learn to resist that shop. Goodness.

Bought the mist and blusher.

BB Magic Balm with brush. It was 50% off so it was totally worth it!

On a randomer note, say hello to my Cookie Monster slippers!

These were from Watson's at Kampar Old Town. Couldn't resist this.
Kampar Old Town is our favourite weekend to-go place these days. Being Aunty is one of our favourite past times now. Planning to have lotus root soup again tomorrow so it's back to the market. Also, we're out of cheap fruits and such. We plan to go down to the Old Town every Saturday or Sunday so let's see how dedicated we are.

Ai Ling gave me a packet of surprise a couple weeks ago. She left it on my table and despite going in and out of the room a couple of times, I failed to notice it. Woe is me.
It was a wide selection of facial masks! Damn nice, no?

Home-cooked Prawn Noodles! Also weeks ago. Zzt
Here's something recent. Sooi Pheng turned 21 last Tuesday. For her birthday, she wanted a simple steamboat so that was what we had.

The Tom Yam Soup.

Ingredients.

People who came.

Chocolate banana cake. Absolute yum

Making a wish.

Blowing out the candles.

Cutting the yummy cake.
Short semester has officially ended so I have 2 final papers to look forward to.
It was been quite a relaxing semester through out.
Till then.
