Do people still read?

Even if people do not read I shall still blog because this is the medium where I can rant and err blog. Right.

I've been feeling a wee bit down ever since the Waterfall Tragedy. I may not know the victims personally but seeing that they passed away at such a young age, it reminded me once again that life is so fragile. I was also reminded on the times I've wasted my precious life worrying over the things I shouldn't and emo-ing about anything and everything, significant or not.

Due to this, I've come up with a motto for myself. Life's Too Short To Hate. Heh. Catchy no?

Moment of rant. When tragedies happen, be it to people we know or not, we are reminded that we are alive and eligible to proceed with life, trying to fulfill our dreams. Those that have passed on may never again be able to do what we can do in real life IE: Spending time with friends, shopping, gaming and such so we should always appreciate every second that we are living and breathing.

A thing that actually pisses me off are people who take life for granted. Instead of actually living, breathing and counting the blessings, they choose to EMO over the most INSIGNIFICANT things, thinking that they should probably end their lives if, say for an example, their girlfriend chose to leave them. Or if they dirtied their favourite shirt with an ink stain. Or maybe someone finished their toilet paper. You know, nonsense like that.

At times like these, I feel like slapping such people upside down and inside out. Really, is that ALL you CHOOSE to live for? For your girlfriend? For your shirt? For your toilet paper?!

What you do not, or probably never will realise is that life is so much MORE than that. Sure, you may meet difficulties and obstacles along the way which will make you stumble but are you going to stick yourself in that little hole for all eternity just because something bad happens? Your life is very sad and as cruel as it may sound, as long as you have that mentality, you're not fit to actually have a life.

I know it may seem rude but seriously, I just have to do this _l_ sign because seriously, go screw yourself a million times over la.

Is it so hard to thank God for all the times He has kept you safe? For providing people you can trust? For all the little blessings such as being sickness free most of the time?

Some people can just be so blind.

I may be guilty of that but I sure know how to climb out from that hole. Unlike some undeserving people.

Rants aside.

One thing to be grateful about is the ability to eat. To taste. Yum.

.
Oatmeal with honey and chocolate spread. Pretty good if I do say so myself. Am gonna try it with peanut butter next time =D Bliss.

We made Laksa Sarawak last week! Tasted nearly like the real deal, sans the eggs and parsley.

One of the most orgasmic cakes Tesco has ever, ever came up with. Period.

I thank God I am a Sarawakian (and proud of it) and a Mirian to be exact for I am able to enjoy beaches and good weather (you'll know what I mean if you stay in Kampar for a long time!) and the Miri way of life. And unique food which I love.

Dabai! *Squeals.

Fried Dabai which is the absolute bomb.

Buah Talap which I've heard is only found in Miri.

Too bad then. More for me =D

Apam balek, which can be found anywhere but I am yet to find one that tastes this close to home.

Life's good when you realise you don't have many chances in screwing up.

Till then.

Lolz. I have another pack of laksa paste to cook. Haha! Ya, I have no idea why it doesn't update itself like last time. Lagging maybe. Healthy oatmeal with an unhealthy twist. <3 Haha.
