Since she can't update her blog (cos she's super tied up with her assignments and mid-terms), she has made me her MAID in doing so lo. Got like that one lo you say.
I, for now, am enjoying my temporal freedom! Yes, it has been a very, very hectic few weeks for me with absolutely not enough sleep. I think the maximum sleep I got was around 5 hours.
Anyway, got a reward for myself and I have to say I super, super, super love it to the maximum. To have a preview of it, click here. I think it's very Me la kan, kan? Even if don't like it I'll force you to like it so you might as well say you like it now la. Hoho. Makes sense?
So let's see, since I am enjoying my temporary time of freedom, I shall do a very, very photo post! Whee. Pardon me for being syok sendiri la. It has been a while.
I shall start off with Ling jie's photos. Actually, I had a moment of confusion while uploading the photos into Photobucket so I don't really know which photos I have uploaded and which I have not. HAHAHA. I bet Soon zhi will hate me. Yer, yer.
Let's start off with photos of...

Derek and me fighting =.=

It's not very clear from the photo but he was actually spraying me with stupid Febreze. Yala, unsure of what sort of mental problems he has. So, I took his most precious Gatsby deodorant (which he occasionally sprays at us as well =.=) and used it against him. Other weapons include broom and a pot cover. Derek the Gatsby Man. I mean, BOY. Tsk tsk.
Anyway, something very, very unfortunate happened to him yesterday so yea, I shall be forgiving. Yer.
The fight happened around 2 weeks back I think. Yes, these are all back-dated photos.

Unrotated photo of me having a Mango Iced thingus at our nearby coffee shop. It was damn sweet cos they used the syrup kind instead of normal mangoes. I got cheated by the picture of it. See la what has advertisements done to this society.

Sweet iceyness.
The Mamak place near our place has also CLOSED DOWN. Okay, their service SUCKED bad but I miss random trips there to watch movies on their big screen. Sigh. The teh ais was quite decent also, come to think of it.
Food photos! Bet you haven't seem them here in a while.

Cabbage, white button mushrooms & oyster sauce. Very yum.

This is actually something that is called Sup Siam. It's beef soup la basically.

Baked dory fillet with garlic and ginger.
Our new official love. Versatile and delicious and easy to cook.

Full din din for forgot which day.

Jang Yee got this for us at this place before Tapah Road. I've forgotten the place but these were awesome. I'm not sure what is the name of this thing but it has yam and pork filling.

She got this for Derek which is noodles in herbal duck soup. Of course, we nabbed some from him. Love the herby taste of the soup.

Now, this I can remember. We had this on Monday. I was having a craving for steamed fish so we had steamed dory fillet with salted vegetables, chilli, garlic and fish sauce. It may look all pale and I bet you're wondering where is the darkish sauce but it was still yummy and yes, it had taste, despite its bland look.

Salted veggie soup again! Surprisingly, it was very unsalty this time. Adding salt aided a bit.

Over all view of dinner.

Ai Ling then prepared dessert for us! Tesco chocolate cake topped with plain yoghurt and kiwi.
Now, a couple of weeks back, Jang Yee, Derek, Ling jie and myself went out for dinner in new town. We initially wanted to try out the new cafe that had just opened but since it was too full, we went to Gold Label instead.
They have very nice decorations lying around but since the lighting was dark and we were using handphone cameras, the beauty cannot be magnified. Lol.

This is actually joined to the table we were sitting at. Damn cool, no?
I do have tons of photos on my phone but I erm, lost my bluetooth connector thingus so yes, no photos from my part. Haha.

Old records filled up one wall.
Gold Label food photos below.

Jang Yee's wan tan hor. Portion wise, it was obviously large but taste wise, it was only average.

Sharkfin soup which Derek shared with us all. It did have the sharkfin taste, surprisingly.

Overall view of our food. From bottom left, steak with red wine (which Derek and I both had), black pepper steak ( Ai Ling's), yet another red wine steak across the table, wan tan hor and shark fin soup in the middle.
The steak was fine but the portion was kinda small. If you must know, which you don't, Ai Ling and I finished the spaghetti bolognaise we had leftover from a previous dinner after returning from dinner.

Saya suka jari saya. Lol.
Some self-shots below. Haven't had those around in a while I reckon.

Ai Ling scolded me for spoiling the photo after this shot =( sigh. It's called spontaneity please. Haha.

I like how shiny my hair looks here.

If you compare this to the photo above, my smiles are quite identical. I'm quite amazed at how I can do that. Haha.

One thing to do when you're queuing at the payment counter; self shot. Actually, Ai Ling had make-up on that day so she wanted to capture her beauty in the photo. HAHAHA.
Ehem.
Continuation of the KL trip. Below are some photos of the hotel.

Artsy. Hurhur.

I quite like how the sink is located outside the bathroom and toilet. That means you'll have to brush your teeth outside.

From the bed, you can see the TV and the dressing table.

A little corner beside the beds.

The door further in is the shower room while the other one is the toilet. Both doors have no locks fyi.

The comfy beds. Very, berry, comfy.
Gotta go get them hangers though. I am currently in lack of it.
Some buys that I likey.
By the way, I just discovered that my DSLR necklace comes with light! So awesome. We had a good time in campus on Wednesday flashing it around.

Off-the-shoulder floral dress! I like, I like. If not I wouldn't have bought it la. Sheesh.

Super proud of this because it is an RM 15.90 dress thing! Love the big ribbon in front. La la la.
More photos from the sister shot previously mentioned.

Artsy emo. Haha.

Toilet sign on the ground floor.

Very cool sensor toilet paper thing. Just place your palm near the hand sign on the machine and a piece of toilet paper comes out for you.

Mirror shot in lift. The hotel has a sea and coral concept which explains the blue lights, probably representing water.

Some collection of vases on the ground floor.
Mom and I then had a walk since we were on a happening street. Tons of street shots below.

Shisha, anyone? There were tons of people smoking this when we were there. It was already 1 am by then. The street that never sleeps. This is located just outside the hotel. They have a juice bar and cafe outside.

The juice bar.

No words for this one.

The big jam at 1 am.

Random man shot before he crossed the road.

Somehow, I like this shot. I like the randomest things sometimes. Sigh.

The said cafe outside Piccolo Hotel.
Sorry. Scene shots are not in order.

A nicey bar just next to the hotel.

Somewhere near Pavilion.

Structury. Couldn't capture the feel though.

Bridge that leads to KLCC.

Big Pavilion and a small guard. Hoho.

Ri ch people place. Hurhur.

Love the arrangement of the bilboards.

I personally like this one.

Bukit Bintang at night is damn awesome. Love the lights.
We got back to the hotel at around 2 am. I then took some of the shots of the hotel below.

Cafe in the hotel

The bar.

The grand piano. Only play if you can really play. Haha.

Pretty things hanging from the ceiling.

We had complementary bre akfast the next day and the breakfast buffet was really good. Above is my first round. Yum. The croissants were delicious. They had such a wide range of bread and pastry to choose from. *Drools.
And, yay! That's all I have for the photos.
It is now 2.11 am and I need me sleep!
Till then.
