I shall study for the final paper, Literature...tomorrow. For tonight, I shall relaxxx. So far, finals have not been as hard as I expected. Which is a good and bad thing. Cos what I wrote MIGHT not be what is expected of the question. Soooo yea. Ai Ling jie has finished her finals, lucky her, and she's going to KL tomorrow to see her other half and is only coming back this Friday =( Someone's going shopping without me ROAR!! However, however, I've asked her to bring back Krispy Kreme for me (and also hunt for my jeans leggings hohoho) or else she doesn't have to bother entering the apartment. I know quite mean right? Ah well. What to do.
We headed to Tesco after the exams to stock up on food. See, I plan to hibernate at home while she is away. I get kind of lazy to buy groceries if I am alone. And I have lit to study for, which I've happily avoided touching for the past weeks so I'd be pretty busy. I think I'd only be leaving the house to fill our bottles with more water. Pipe water here is undrinkable. There was this period of time when the pipe water was as cloudy as chalk water. Le sigh.
On a random note.

Hershey says hello!
It's still as fat as ever but it has mood swings now I don't like. It'll be especially nice to you if it is hungry. Then there will be times when it is full/contented then it will ignore you got like that one wor. BUT I still quite like its adorable face so nevermind la. Lol.
More food photos of our experiments this past few days, and other random stuff as usual.
We shall start off with today's dinner.

Behold; Creamy garlic and mushroom linguine.
We've been using evaporated milk for a few new dishes recently after accidentally discovering its magical uses last Sunday while using it to cook pumpkin (more on that later).
I just fried lots and lots of garlic with some white and brown button mushrooms. After that, pour in the evaporated milk and let it simmer and thicken. While waiting, I added in some oregano and basil. Then some lemon juice, finished off by melting some cheese into it. After it thickens, dump in the linguine and mix.
Wa-la, pasta! Lame. It was quite nice la though some more garlic could have been used. I like the after garlic taste. Yum.

This reminds me of the time we watched Marley and Me I think last Saturday on PPS as well. I bet everyone knows I am not a dog lover but Ma
PPS is PP Stream, by the way, which is some sort of online programme which allows you to watch shows, dramas and movies. It's also in chinese which means people wh
We were at Elianto while we were at Tesco earlier on and we bought some stuff. Both of us bought masks and nail polish remover. I also bought this nail art thing for fun. I reckon it looks quite nice with the red. Might do that for the rest of the nails after finals. Woo.

These are the current colours of my right hand nails. Things to do when you are relaxing from studying. Ahh.

See, quite match my sleeping shorts some more. Hoho.

Mask from Elianto which I bought. I love how essency it is. And the smell. Ahh. It's quite not bad la. Skin feels softer after use.
We had dinner over at Jang Yee and Derek's last night.
Our contribution to the dinner as below.

Prawns in creamy spicy sauce. This was also cooked with evaporated milk. The only difference is we used curry leaves and dried chillies instead. Quite the nice like buttermilk.

Ai Ling fried the long beans with brown button mushrooms, garlic and red onions.

Jang Yee made salted veg and tofu soup which was yummy. She also made black pepper mutton which was good. I have no idea where the pic of that went but I think Ai Ling will be doing an update on it soon anyway.

One of our lazy-to-cook days. This was on Tuesday I think. KFC! Haven't had it for ages. Probably a month? So kuai right? Yea, I'm quite surprised too.

Another homey soup! White carrot soup with preserved radishes. Preserved radishes are one of the nicest things on earth =D

Brussel sprouts again! Super cheap, as usual. I think we had these last Friday. Hmm.

Last Sunday's dinner. Creamy and spicy pumpkin, leftover soup and Ai Ling's 'mushroom hotdog'. This was the dish which we discovered the loveliness of evaporated milk.

Went for a cycle after dinner last Sunday. The straight road which leads to the back gates of UTAR.

Can see half the clear sky and half the dark one. Kampar's lovely weather indeed.
I shall end my post with these.

Jukebox! Spotted at this cafe at the new town where we went to have a drink last week.

In front: Kampar's version of 4 sour. Behind: Kampar's version of 3 sour.
It has ORANGE juice.
Till then.
