Alas, civilisation once again

We were told by a friend that there was this Taiwan restaurant near our place offering free wi-fi so it was the spot for dinner tonight. After just MINUTES into our connection, the connection mysteriously disconnected due to reasons perhaps being the owner of the restaurant PURPOSELY turning off the modem or something like that. HOWEVER, we managed to connect to the one for KFC at Tesco and ta-da, yet another blog update.

Class started this week and our 16 member strong course evolved to a 28-member strong group. Our course has not been very strenous so far since it is still the beginning of the week but judging from what I have observed, there's plenty of reading to be done. Not to mention that our books cost a BOMB. Thank goodness for our responsible class rep who has offered his photostating services to us.

Today was also the first day I cycled alone to school since Ai Ling did not have any tutorials for the morning. I was pretty nervous about cycling alone at first but when I saw the masses cycling before me, it was nothing to worry about after all. HOWEVER however however, the stupidest mistake I could ever have done was NOT bringing my UNI PASS to school which would automatically deny me entry into campus and I only realised this when I reached the back gate of the uni. Panicking (since I had around 15 minutes which is not much time considering all the walking in the campus to class and all) I immediately called Ai Ling (who was still sleeping like a PIG) and asked if she could bring the pass for me. After calling her, I then cycled back to the junction pretty near the apartment to await her and my pass. I was pretty much in a panic then because being the pig that she was, she actually had to BRUSH her TEETH and GET READY to just PASS me my pass =.=

Sooo, I called her again and by then she told me that she had passed my school pass to our super-friendly neighbour (whom we secretly call 'How ge' (Brother How), inside joke. Hurhur) since he was also going for his classes then. So, there I was, panicking once again that maybe How ge had drifted his way to school with his red helmet, red jacket and red motorcycle. It sure took him slow to reach the junction today since he was always rushing around during other days.

After a while, I heard a motocycle putting down the road and there was How ge with his red helmet, red jacket and red motorcycle! Such a relief to see him. I think it would be much better if he offered me a ride on his motorcycle to school. I sure had aching muscles then. Haha. NOLA.

Anyways, after getting back from my morning class, I rested a while and did some homework and then went back to uni again at around 4.05 pm perhaps for my 4.30 pm lecture. This time, I remembered to bring my pass BUT as I was cycling to school it started to DRIZZLE =( I got a bit wet and for the entire lecture period started worrying about rains and clouds and back gates being locked. Wth.

Now here I am. Sitting in this cafe typing this post about my rather eventful day.
