I have an infection HAHA

Yes I DO have an infection. Seriously.

It all started a couple of days ago when I was suddenly down with the flu and fever which miraculously lasted for about two days. I am a quick healer hurhur. After that, I started getting really thick mucous which was often stuck in my throat. It was uncomfortable to sleep in such conditions at night and the mucous traveled back and forth to my nose and throat. Gross. I took some Actifed for a couple of nights and Clarinase in the daytime but to no avail so I gave up. Then, I developed one sided sore throat.

Not long after, I noticed that my breath stank despite the fact that I brush and clean my teeth regularly. I was sort of worried that I might have a polyp in my nose since I knew of someone who had such symptoms when she discovered the polyp. So I finally decided to consult the ENT doctor today. As soon as I entered the room, he asked me if I wanted him to torture me some more (note: the turbinate burning incident. Or you can also call it cautery of turbinates). =.=" Got like that one boh.

I explained my symptoms to him and he decided to do a scope for me to check out my nose and throat. After 3 puffs of Xylocaine spray in each nostril (it tasted gross and much different from last time somehow. And I don't know why I had to have 3 puffs when the usual amount was 1 or 2. Must be from the burning turbinate incident =.=) he performed the scope and it turns out that I do have some nose infection. My left turbinate is very swollen now and all the thick mucuous is hiding behind it.

I am now on antibiotics (Augmentin) and Afferin spray, a decongestant. No more Actifed too for the time being and I shall have to stop my daily nasal sprays too for the time being. The condition should clear up in about 5 days he reckons.

Ah well. At least it is nothing serious.

I am currently Topshop-ing and I like <3.

Shall post up more clothes pics soon. Sometimes I wish I have all the money I want to splurge. *Sighs wistfully.

Till then.
