When I was a kid, one of my uncles used to bring my sister and I swimming at GCM. Yes, I don't swim but I stayed afloat with arm bands or floats. After the swim, the uncle would treat each of us to ice-cream and I always chose the vanilla one with lime ice all around it. Back then, the wrapper was silverish and had stars all around it. Forgot the brand of that ice-cream but it was yummy. I had one Solero one today and it certainly brought back memories of how refreshing the lime and vanilla combination is. Perhaps I shall have one more tomorrow. For RM 1.00, It's worth it. Hoho.

While happily nibbling on the ice-cream, I remembered another treat back from the old days; Koko jelly! Grandpa used to have them in stock at his place and would dish some out to the cousins whenever we were over. Has anyone tried the new ones with really nice grape gummies inside? Quite yummy.
This also brings me yet another sweet memory of lollipops! The wrapper had cartoonish fruits all over it and the lollipop itself was flat. My favourite one was the lime flavoured one. Apart from that, the red strawberry one was good too as was the orange one. One of my cousins liked the yellow one which was pinapple flavoured I think. Well, he likes yellow anyway which would probably explain why he liked that flavour. Hmm. We would have that along on the way to Bakam beach.
Childhood wasn't so bad when I was in kindergarten. =(
Anyways, I have decided to re-stock the wardrobe before I head off for studies. I should probably get more campus-friendly clothes. After doing much soul searching, I have come to conclusion that I am a simple person. I do not like T-shirts with over complicated designs. Basics would do and if I were to pick a graphic tee, something like

would do. I prefer graphic tees that have quirky quips or vintage designs to them unfortunately for me, it is pretty hard to find such tees in Miri so I shall be hunting them in KL the next month.

I am also in need of a pair of shorts or two. I sort of wan to get a plaid one like the above and a basic black one. Am still on the lookout for this.
By the way, I just found out yesterday that U2 in Boulevard is now G2000. Hurhur. I bought my first campus-friendly top there which was on sale. =D It looks like a layered top and the colours are fresh looking. Which reminds me, I should probably try out more fresh, vibrant colours. Hmm. I would probably have bought more stuff if it weren't for the fact that my brother was impatient and kept forcing me to hurry up since he wanted to head to Toys' World, which was having some sort of clearance sale. It turned out to be a waste of time in the end anyway. Tsk tsk.
I feel like getting a messenger bag as well although I have a nicey radio one now. One should probably get a bag or 2 for good travelling purposes shouldn't they? A messenger bag would be more convenient to travel in compared to the shoulder-sling radio bag, which is more to campus-friendly than traveling. Hmm.

Something like the above would be very nice indeed. Haha.
More clothes pics below. I love stuff from Topshop, Seed, Nichi City, PDI and and and lots more. Sometimes I wish I have the spending power to buy and buy and buy but the sad fact is I am still a student so I shall behave like a student and splurge only when necessary.
And I would say now is a bit necessary considering the fact that I have not been out and about for a long long time.
Owh. I want to get a pair of jeans-like leggings. Which is when Sungei Wang and Times Square come in handy. Hurhur.

Longish top paired with leggings would look great. I shall get more of them soon.

I also happen to like flowy dress-like tops with simple designs (IE: My purple dress =D) paired with jeans. Love the lacey part on this top. Fyi, most of the clothes shown here are from F21 which has pretty nice designs. Can't seem to steal any from Topshop so
these will have to do.
I also want to look for another (or more) mini jackets like the above. I have a basic black one already and I saw this nice red one at VJ Jeans yesterday. I didn't have the chance to try it on since my brother dragged me off somewhere else as soon as I saw it. Tsk tsk. I could also get some sleeveless basics to go with them if I do get more of these jackets. Hmm.

Kimono inspired tops! Nicey nicey.

I seem to prefer dresses to skirts these days. Certain vintage-inspired dresses are nice but all the same, I would fall back to simple dresses. Hope to get more dresses in reasonable prices soon. As of now, I shall go boutique shopping at Imperial Mall to satiate my dress and ahlian style clothing appetite. Any followers?

Another example of simple top with simple design paired with pants.

Example of campus- friendly clothes.
Yep. I am definitely a simple person as shown in the examples above. There was this period of time when I got confused over the trends I should follow. As of now, I reckon the Vintage trend is pretty In. I don't really follow it much since some things such as skinny jeans will definitely NOT look good on me. So, I shall stick to clothes that suit me and half heartedly follow these trends; Vintage, Punk, Prep, Rock, etc.
Being yourself is much easier sometimes.
Till then.

LOL. I think simple stuff are easier to match lo. Somehow I can't see myself in very bunga bunga clothes. Haha.
