Happy & Sad

I just got back from a day trip to Bintulu. The surgeon was invited to give a talk so mom asked me along to help her out. Tagging along was my brother who was a wee bit annoying during the ride there. Anyway, pictures of the nicey nicey hotel in the next post.

As for now, I shall share with you some happy and sad facts.

Happy fact 1: I finally learnt how to trim my fringe the correct way. All along, I've been cutting them horizontally resulting in super thick and coconut-ish fringe. The secret lies in cutting in vertically instead which makes all the difference! Also, I've learnt how to texturise the fringe a bit so that it won't appear too thick! I have this secret fear that if I go for studies, I won't be able to find a good saloon to manage my hair and shall end up looking like a bush when I go back for the holidays. Also, maintaining a fringe was going to be hard since it would appear thicker and thicker by the second and leaving it to grow out would make it look weird too. Alas, problem solved!


Doesn't look bad hor?!! Haha.

And yes, I still wear my old sec school tees at home. Ahh. Comfort.


Happy fact 2: I am getting my new glasses tomorrow!! =D Didn't expect to get them this fast but the lady boss called up so yay!

Sad fact: Everyone knows Huixin has thick, bushy eyebrows. Recently, she has taken up plucking them to give them a neater appearance. Everything was fine until today she sort of messed up her brows and now the left brow looks weird =((( She seriously hopes no one will notice it.
