Gayu Guru Gerai Nyamai!
I hope I got it right. Hehe.
I went visiting to to houses; one of a church member's and one an ex-colleague. Good food, good food.
Anyway, received my duty roster for this month. Hopefully this will be my last month working *fingers crossed. Found out that I will not be working in my current department. I will be going to *gasps* Medical Records. As in filing. As in sending medical records. As in my previous job for the last 6 months before I entered form 6. Talk about phobia lo.
Bossy-kun did explain why she made the switch so I hope everything works out for the best in the end. Sigh.
I reckon being a receptionist cannot be a permanent job for me lo. Not that I've considered that la. One very good reason: No one can seem to grasp my name.
I think hor, just because I have a chinese name, people automatically classify it as a 'hard-to-remember-name'. Very annoying lo sometimes.
Caller: Hello, may I know who's on the line?
Me: HuUUUUUUIiiIIIIIIIIXXXXXXXXIIIiiiiiiiNNNNNnnnn (knowing how slow some people can be at listening to chinese names)
Caller: Whhooooooo?
Me: HhHHuuuuuiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiinnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn!!
Caller: WhOOOoo??
I bet someone with an English name like Alphonsus Alburqueque Cornelius Van Scotch would not have a problem like mine because it's not a chinese name, duh!
So impossibly long English names can be easily remembered whereas short chinese names can't? I would say this is all a psychology matter lo.
Speaking of which, I suddenly have an epiphany. Allen would make a great dad. *nods head. HAHA!
One day, which was actually a few days ago la, Allen-kun sent me a comment on Friendster saying that there was something suspicious and I got to ask him on MSN as to what was suspicious to him. He asked me who was that 'Malay guy' dropping comments on my Friendster and do I know him?
Apparently, that 'Malay guy' turned 0ut to be the nice guy from the lab whom I met while working. HAHA!
So fatherly can? Hoho.
He commented about the guy's Malay saying that it was...different. Which also caused his suspicion. Hmmm. Allen can officially be my dad. =D
By the way, I think the bus stop outside my house should be demolished. I think the only normal people hanging out there are the blind/partially blind people from the Blind Centre who wait for the bus there to take them home, perhaps? Believe me, mentally-disturbed people and oddballs make up the list of people hanging 0utside the bus stop.
Just today, while I was closing the gate, I saw a man sitting at the bus stop alone. He was fiddling with his handphone and when he saw me closing the gate, he kept staring at me. Like wtf lo. Never see people close gate meh? Of course I ignored him and continued closing the gate. He then started making these "Psst..psst" sounds probably to attract attention and started calling me 'amoi'.
Oi, cik abang. Please hor. Don't feel that you are very cool and handsome because you are obviously NOT. I bet you're a lonely SADIST because none of your non-existant friends are willing to accompany you at the bus stop! Shows what a sad person you are.
2 days of holidays to look forward to! =D
Any plans, sms me, thank you.
