Rants on a Sunday afternoon

I need something new to read. I've been reading my old books repetitously I must add. It gets boring after a while. Any suggestions?

It's a very hot Sunday afternoon now in Miri. I just heated up some fish for an afternoon snack. Eating fish with chopsticks. Yum. Actually it's fish fillet with sauce la. Left over from dinner a few nights ago

WHAT. I didn't have lunch okay. And I was carving for food. =.=

At least the mini HP fan is working its wonders.

Randoms aside, I am feeling quite upset. I don't know why, but things always happens to my favourite clothes. Bad things. They either get stained or the colours miraculously run. Is there the ordinance against Huixin and her clothes? Or did she offend some clothes in the past?

Just now, I had to try to remove stains from two shirts; my work shirt and pink MNG basic.

Mom told me to always hand wash my work shirt since our washing machine is a bit of a failure. Sometimes, instead of clear water, yellowish water gets pumped into the machine instead which stains the clothes.

Anyway, I do handwash my work shirts most of the time but once in a while, I still do let the machine do all the work since I am overly tired and would like to pamper myself ASAP. Most of the time, nothing happens to my work shirts after machine was BUT one day, I noticed big yellowish stains on my blue work shirt. I was damn angry okay! Dahlah I only have 2 work shirts which I alternate every working day (Mom says it's a waste to get more shirts since it's only a temporary job). So I had to wear that shirt to work anyway. Thank goodness for blazers which cover up the stains.

Of course, I didn't want to tell my mom about the stain since she'd give me the 'I-told-you-so' lecture so I tried scrubbing off the stains but to no avail. Since I was very free this afternoon, I decided to use the boiling method; placing the shirt in a pot with some washing powder and water and boiling the stains out.

As for the pink MNG shirt, I discovered BLUE stains on it while I was putting away the laundry. I love that t-shirt okay since I am very into plain clothes and basics now. I think simplicity is the key and with such a limited wardrobe selection, I wear my pink basic quite constantly. You can see it from my beach trip with the cousin post or the 1st May Marina Bay post. Yes. THAT shirt. I only have so many favourites and now, one of it is STAINED.

This is not the first time this happened to my t-shirts. I had 2 nice green ones which got decolourised, a blue one ALSO decolourised and a few STAINED by some other stupid colours.

At this rate, I reckon I'll be shirtless when I go off for studies!

AHEM. So I put the pink MNG basic along with the work shirt into a pot and started the boiling process. While waiting, I onlined a bit and forgot about the clothes cooking in the pot!

I suddenly remembered and rushed to save my clothes. The water was PINK when I got there and I started fearing for my work shirt. The work shirt was removed of all the yellowish stains and wasn't stained pink, thankfully but the MNG shirt still had blue stains on them!

ROAR! Very annoyed. Why do all my favourite clothes HAVE to get stained?

I am not giving up. I will try to save the shirt else I'd have even less clothes to choose from.=.=

Shall have to start shelling out money for some wearable shirts some time soon.

Till then.
