Overdue Update

No, I have not fallen off the surface of this earth. I was merely procrastinating.

Anyway, updates! Have tons to do later on starting with some Bleach catching up. I thought I had lost interest in watching but then Allen started watching it in my house yesterday and alas, it drummed up my interest once again.

Have some pictures to upload, starting from Jia Hua's 21st birthday dinner at Tanjong on the 22/4/08. Plenty of April babies around here. Hehe.

So he invited a bunch of his friends to a birthday gathering at 7.00 pm that night at his relatives' stall. Since the time was already stated, Jessica, Daphne and I headed off and arrived a few minutes before 7.00 pm. When we finally located the stall where the gathering was held, we were, surprise surprise, saw that there were no other attendees aside from ourselves, the birthday boy and the stall manners. Typical.

Empty seats all around. As you can see, the table was already ladened with some dishes. Under the covers were sting ray, fried rice, tom yam fish and some other delicious food that were delectable to the tummy. =D

Other random food pics below.

Deep fried sotong I reckon. I kept thinking it was chicken until someone pointed out that chicken wasn't that chewy. Haha.

I loved this one! Am not really sure what it's called but I guess I shall call them cockles for know. Haha. Really yummy and fresh. Haha.

Overall, the food was really good. If I've not mistaken, the stall we were at was stall no. 7. Wasn't noticing the signs around since it was dark. Haha.

Some other random shots below.

Empty plate which was once filled with food. Haha. *burp.

Earlier on when we were the only guests that had arrived, b-boy started calling the rest of the macho men asking them when they were gonna arrive. The usual trick to make sure they come faster was to say that the rest had arrived/food was finishing/everyone will be leaving soon. Tsk tsk tsk.

If you've noticed, I labeled most of the photos above. However, I shall not continue doing that anymore cos its so troublesome lo. We'll see how it goes.

Made a random trip to see Marina Bay with my mom and bro last Thursday. Some scenery piccies for your viewing pleasure.

There were many boats and yachts around. You can also see the Marina Bay apartment complex beyond the river.

Alrighty then. I guess I shall stop here. I do have some more photos to post but I guess I can leave that for another post.

Once again, thanks for all the sms-es, Facebook and Friendster comments, messages and presents and food from everyone. =)

At this point, I shall just say that some things are meant to be dealt with God's hands and no matter how emotional we get over it, God still has the upper hand, in the end and we shall just live each day, trying to be more and more like His likeness and trying to do and see things, His way.
=D

Till then. Have a good week ahead.
