Computers play a very vital role in our daily lives.
This point was proven when the computers at work suffered a breakdown this afternoon, causing everyone to *gasp* work manually which basically sucked.
All systems were up again half an hour a later but the damage had been done. Everything became a tad laggish which was kind of stressful. Now, if there was some sort of power failure... ROFL.
So I just received a call from an old schoolmate during my form 6 years. Apparently, the former school wanted me to teach English there. T'was flattering, having the job look for you instead of hunting for it but I had to say No since my present job requires me to give my full commitment till June. However, I must say a big Thank You for offering that position to me. =)
Above is the awesome song by Sum41, With Me. It's really good and I've been listening to it these couple of days. As usual, Huixin has good taste. Hurhur. Not really a big fan of Sum41 but I think they did a good job with this song. My other favourite song by them is Still Waiting which shows just exactly how much I know about this band. Haha.
Apart from good music, I'm also addicted to bad food. Can you believe I had 3 packets of Maggie Mee last week? Owh, I believe you can. Haha. I don't mean in one go la. On different days. Sheesh. What were you thinking? Honestly.
The curry flavoured Maggie Mee tastes great with eggs and a few dashes of wine. Which explains the addiction.
Yum.
During the phone conversation with the former schoolmate, he told me that he had already applied for local university without his results. Apparently, the application did not state that results were needed. I figured that I should probably do the same too but the problem is, I don't know which to pick,
TESL, Arts (English), Linguistics (English).
Can someone help me out here please?

If I am not mistaken, linguistics itself is rather technical. If you are the creative type of person, look into Arts (English). As for TESL, it's relevant for non-english speaking countries. You can opt to go elsewhere to work in the future. Look into Korea and Japan? Hehe
Haha. Thanks for the tips. Just submitted my uni application just now. Phew. It was tough choosing. I applied mostly for Bachelor of Arts (English) since according to my former school teacher, it has wider job prospects which is always better. As for now, I shall just wait and wait for the magic to happen. Haha.
I hope you get it! =D
Thanks! =D
Im not sure how did ur former schoolmate did it, but i've never heard of someone applying for a place in the local uni without his formal results..
Hey Jo. I tried applying for it and yes, the STPM thing does not require any results whatsoever. Not sure why either.
