I will be going to watch the preliminary rounds & practically most of the stuff during the KLWMBC so if you can, PLEASE COME WATCH TOO and LET'S GO SHOPPING if possible. Message me, okay? Bah. So, this post will be a joint post about 2 things; the pot luck & birthday celebration.
Let's start off with the pot luck, held at Daphne's place last Tuesday (4/12/07, very memorable date, okay?)
The dress code of the night was jeans and sleeveless black shirts whereas the theme was gothic. Now, people, we shall give credit to all those creative people who have suggested such a theme. Clap hands clap hands.
Now, girls being girls were obedient and sporting enough to don on the alloacated clothes and primp themselves with a little eyeliner whereas those boys being boys, were NOT quite sporting enough, arriving fashionably late with their dishes, wearing jeans and black T-shirts, eyelinerless.
Digressing a little, I thank God for Giordano. Since the word SLEEVELESS shirt was stressed, I had to go hunting for one as I don't normally wear sleeveless T-shirts and such. So, the hunt started at Imperial where the choices were from zero to zilch and then we moved on to Parkson where I nearly gave up hope. However, Wan Yi suggested Giordano and we trudged onwards where we found this most boringest, plainest sleeveless shirt in white. After some conversation exchange with the sales person, the sleeveless shirt also came in black and I was all =D cos I was so sick of wandering around to hunt for a sleeveless shirt. I purchased the shirt after trying it on and I must say, it's quite a good buy. End of digression.
Nontheless, it was still quite an enjoyable night.

Sine the birthday boys paid for the meal, it wasn't nice of us to just feed off them. So, us girls decided to get them some cake since they didn't have any birthday cake. Kristy and I then went off to Coffee Bean to select four slices of cake which will then be chosen randomly by them guys.
Dragon & his slice of Oreo fantasy cheesecake. Owh and his present too. Each of the boys got one of that. According to the box, it has some aphrodisiac elements. Interesting.
